On July 13, the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (AmCham Indonesia) and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) hosted the first in a series of briefings on economic issues affecting the private sector in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Nathan’s Tim Buehrer, Chief of Party for the ASEAN Connectivity through Trade and Investment (ACTI) project, moderated the briefing, “Addressing Non-Tariff Measures in FTAs and RTAs,” held in Jakarta.

The panelists included Dr. Doan Thi Thanh Ha, Economist at ERIA; Mr. Nararya Soeprapto, the Head of Government Relations at Procter & Gamble Indonesia; and Mr. Brasukra Gumilang Sudjana, Senior Officer on Trade Facilitation at the ASEAN Secretariat.
