Women are underrepresented as employees and business operators in transportation. This report offers a guide for increasing their participation. The report also addresses access to transportation because such access is essential for women to work. The report approaches the issues through education, hiring and entrepreneurship, retention, leadership, and user access.
It provides a choice of actions designed to increase women’s participation, along with metrics to gauge progress. Though designed for APEC, the material is widely applicable.
