The hardships endured in the Palestinian territories hinder economic growth and private sector development. To strengthen private enterprises, the PICTI project assisted the Palestinian ICT sector in developing an incubator facility that offers professional business development services for promising ICT products that could attract investment.

This for-profit, locally owned facility is advancing conference and telecommunications infrastructure; providing local firms with mentors, financing services, and test marketing services; and raising awareness of and support for information technology in the Palestinian economy.
