US-APEC Technical Assistance to Advance Regional Integration (US-ATAARI) is a five-year activity that aims to strengthen the capacity of the APEC Secretariat and APEC’s foreign-assistance eligible developing member economies to advance regional economic integration and achieve the Bogor Goals of free and open trade and investment in the region.

US-ATAARI builds upon past assistance provided to APEC by the U.S. Government to assist APEC in achieving its policy objectives by delivering targeted technical assistance, ranging from policy studies and assessments to capacity building, training, and expert advice on integration, trade liberalization and institutional management. Its program areas include green growth, trade and investment facilitation, regulatory reform, human security and host year capacity building.

US-ATAARI is managed by USAID’s Asia Bureau with funding and strategic direction from the U.S. Department of State. It is managed by Chief of Party (COP), Ann Katsiak.
