Eric Uggen is Vice President of Economic Policy and Governance with responsibility for a diverse portfolio of projects in economic governance, economic policy, domestic resource mobilization, and public financial management.

Mr. Uggen has worked in the field of international development for more than 20 years designing, managing, and implementing projects funded by USAID, MCC, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank.  Before joining Nathan, Mr. Uggen was a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting.  His responsibilities included developing and delivering donor-funded projects in local governance and service delivery improvement, public financial management, and integrated financial systems design and implementation.  He served as the Chief of Party of the Strengthening Public Financial Management in Latin America and the Caribbean (PFM-LAC) project, which provided targeted analysis, technical assistance, and capacity building in PFM throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. His experience also includes the management and delivery of projects in a variety of contexts, including post-conflict, along with U.S.-based work focused on process improvement and operations in financial management.  Mr. Uggen is a certified project management professional (PMP), holds an MPA with a specialization in Public Sector Budgeting from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in History from Willamette University.
