The World Bank was retained by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to assist the National Port Authority (SEAPA) in the preparation of the National Port Strategy. Nathan Associates served on the World Bank team in the preparation of the national port strategy, leading the efforts to develop vision and mission statements, and prepared a SWOT analysis and institutional framework options for the future SEAPA. Nathan also prepared the strategy document, conducted a number of workshops with public and private sector stakeholders to develop a consensus in relation to the strategy, and an action plan for strategy implementation.
