ARLINGTON, December 16 – Nathan is delighted to announce the publication of its fourth Communication on Progress to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).

The UNGC is a voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. UNGC aims to “mobilize a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world we want.” The UNGC reports that over 12,000 companies in over 160 countries have joined the network and committed to aligning their strategies and operations with the 10 principles of the UNGC covering human rights and labor rights, environmental sustainability, and ethical business practices as well as to engage with the advancement of broader societal goals, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.

Nathan has been a member of UNGC since 2017. “I am proud of our accomplishments to date and our continued commitment to the Compact’s 10 principles,” wrote Nathan President and CEO Susan Chodakewitz in the introductory statement to the 2021 report. “We will leverage our successes and continue to focus on the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations.”

Stakeholders and interested parties can access the Nathan Associates Communication on Progress 2021 from the UNGC website or on our corporate website.
