Alan P. Meister, Ph.D., a principal economist at Nathan Associates and a leader in the economic analysis of Indian gaming, will be presenting in San Diego at the 2017 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, the longest-running gaming trade show and the country’s largest gathering of tribal leaders and casino executives.

The event is hosted by the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA).

In his educational session, Indian Gaming Economics 101, held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, Dr. Meister will share details from the 15th edition of the Indian Gaming Industry Report, which is being publicly released at the event.

His presentation will provide the latest facts and figures on the economic state of Indian gaming, including the latest national and state performance statistics, trend analysis, comparisons to commercial casino gaming, data on the economic contribution of Indian gaming on the U.S. economy, and an economic outlook for Indian gaming.

Over the past 17 years, Dr. Meister has conducted extensive research and analysis of the gaming industry, including Indian gaming, commercial casinos, racinos, card rooms, and online gaming.
