Alan P. Meister, Ph.D., a principal economist at Nathan Associates, presented at Native Nation Events' Third Annual General Managers Exchange on the economic state of Indian gaming. The conference brought together general managers from tribally owned casinos for two days of professional, moderator-led roundtable discussions, keynote speaker presentations, small group break-out sessions, peer-to-peer dialogues, and networking opportunities.

In his presentation, Dr. Meister provided an update on the status of Indian gaming in the United States, including some results from the forthcoming edition of his annual study, the Indian Gaming Industry Report.

He examined its recent performance, historical trends, and comparisons with other casino gaming segments. He also discussed the outlook for Indian gaming, including potential challenges and opportunities. Stephanie Licata, the managing director of training and business development for Native Nation Events, noted, Dr. Meister was critical to the success of our Third Annual General Managers' Exchange  We've invited Dr. Meister to speak at numerous conferences due to the continuing value he provides to our attendees time and time again.
