Background:

Nathan Associates Inc., a U.S. based international development consulting firm, is seeking mid and senior level technical experts for a U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)-funded program. Nathan Associates is a leading provider of economic and management consultancy services worldwide. We have been implementing successful projects in private sector development for over 30 years.

Job Description:

The Emerging Market Townhall Project Development and Market Analysis Program is a three-year Multiple-Award Blanket Purchase Agreement DFC program that supports DFC in its efforts to access more diverse clients in harder-to-reach markets, by educating eligible companies on how they can work with DFC. Nathan is providing early-stage support to cultivate DFC’s prospective clients and increase awareness of DFC partnership prospects, provide on-demand market analysis to take advantage of emerging opportunities, and engage in more detailed and precise monitoring and evaluation to better report on impact.

We are seeking technical experts to staff short-term positions in the following areas:

• Access to finance
• Innovative financial products
• Blended finance
• Climate finance
• Health finance
• Business enabling environment
• Legal and regulatory reform
• Monitoring and evaluation

Candidates should have excellent technical experience in one or more of the areas above, knowledge of DFC, and proven consulting skills.

Qualifications:

·An advanced degree in finance, economics, business administration, law, or related field

·At least five years’ of program management or advisory experience with development finance programs (or similar).

·Prior experience working with DFC, or other development finance institutions

·Experience working in country contexts relevant to US DFC, USAID, and MCC work
