Nathan (Nate) Kline, J.D., leads effective teams in private sector development and business enabling environment reform efforts. As the Private Sector Development Practice Lead, Mr. Kline leads a portfolio of projects that are streamlining business regulations for small and medium enterprises, boosting enterprise competitiveness, and navigating regulatory frameworks for evolving digital technologies.
Mr. Kline has more than 15 years of experience in law, international development, and program management in an emerging markets context. Previously, Mr. Kline served as Director or Chief of Party of three multi-million dollar USAID programs providing business enabling environment constraints analysis and technical assistance for private sector development. Mr. Kline has supported the US Government’s Feed the Future initiative promoting inclusive agricultural-led growth through better regulation and policies. He has led assignments to promote business enabling environment reforms in 15 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and Asia. He has developed specific expertise in agriculture and the private health sectors. Mr. Kline joined the firm in 2019.
