Jeremy Schanck specializes in trade facilitation, trade policy, and communications, applying his technical and management expertise to complex capacity building programs throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, the former Soviet Union, and Southeast Asia.
He is a skilled writer and speaker who has produced technical analyses and trade facilitation handbooks, trained public and private sector stakeholders and devised communications and organizational development strategies.
Mr. Schanck has worked in more than 20 countries on USAID- and DFID-funded projects. These projects have helped reduce the time, cost, and reliability of trade; supported host-country governments to develop evidence-based trade policy and negotiation strategies; and built exporters’ capacity to meet international quality and food safety standards.
Before joining Nathan, Mr. Schanck worked for Chemonics International, where he managed projects in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Asia-Pacific, and designed and implemented regional business development strategies.
