Mr. Daniel Fitzpatrick is a seasoned Chief of Party/Team Leader and Regulatory Reform Advisor with twenty years of experience managing regulatory reform and institutional strengthening programs in the Balkans, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. He specializes in reforming regulatory and judicial frameworks to facilitate trade, lending, competition, and investment.
Additionally, Mr. Fitzpatrick has authored and edited judicial bench books, instructional guides, and case studies on a wide range of commercial law matters. He has taught graduate and continuing legal education courses on various subjects, including trade and investment, competition, contracts and bankruptcy.
Mr. Fitzpatrick is currently leading LUNA II, a trade facilitation project in Lao PDR, funded by USAID. Serving since 2016, Mr. Fitzpatrick has received accolades from both the US Embassy and USAID for innovation and effectiveness in counterpart relations and project management.
