Job Description:

Nathan has an expanding portfolio of trade policy, trade facilitation, and export promotion projects and activities funded by a wide range of bilateral and multilateral donors including but not limited to USAID, MCC, USDA, FCDO, DFAT, the World Bank, and the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation. Nathan is currently building its roster of leading international trade experts in a range of technical areas for long and short-term assignments in the United States and overseas. We are seeking experts in the following areas:

  • Trade Policy – compliance, negotiation, and legal and regulatory reform
  • Trade Facilitation, Customs Modernization, and Risk Management
  • Sectoral Experts in agriculture, health, ICT, and other key industries and sectors
  • Transport and Logistics
  • Digital Trade, Digital Economy, and Information Technology



Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Economics, Trade Policy, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience working in economic development, public policy reform, WTO accession and compliance, trade-related transport and logistics, and/or donor-funded project management
  • Excellent English speaking & writing skills; foreign language proficiency desired (particularly French and Spanish)
  • Experience with USAID, MCC, FCDO, World Bank, or other donor-funded programs
  • Significant work experience in middle and low-income countries
  • Willingness to travel to Africa, Latin America, the Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East
