Based in Portugal, the International Copper Study Group (ICSG) is an intergovernmental organization that promotes copper market transparency and international cooperation on issues related to copper.

On its behalf, Nathan India developed an accurate database of first-use copper manufacturers in India and around the world. Information was collected first hand through interviews with experts and factory owners. The new database is helping ICSG generate an annual country-level directory of plants producing semi-fabricated copper and copper alloy products.
