Nathan brought the USAID-funded Cambodian Garment Industry Productivity Center (GIPC) to full sustainability in 2011. The center helps the Cambodian garment industry rise to the challenge of global competition by raising output and lowering costs, developing the industrial skills of the work force, and establishing models of good governance in apparel manufacturing that can be applied to other industries.

Nathan worked with the GIPC and local partners to expand the center’s client base for core services, expand the service portfolio, and tap new revenue sources. The goal of the project was to help the GIPC assist more than 100 enterprises and factories, train 1,000 individuals, and create 2,500 new jobs.
