Dr. Cason earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. His major field within economics was industrial organization, and he conducted research and published extensively in industrial organization, game theory, and experimental economics in more than two dozen scholarly articles and chapters in texts. His interests also include antitrust and the regulation of the electric power and transportation industries.
