Dr. Schneider is an economist and statistician with more than 40 years of experience in industry research and analysis, litigation and regulatory economics, public policy analysis, and survey design and statistical sampling. He has provided expert testimony in cases covering employment discrimination, unpaid overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), patent and trademark infringement damages, contract disputes, and unfair competition.

As an expert witness, Dr. Schneider has provided testimony before U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland, District of Delaware, and Western District of Washington, at arbitrations conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association, and at government hearings. He has also testified by deposition in cases in U.S. District Courts (Northern District of Alabama, Southern District of New York, Southern District of Florida, District of Minnesota, Northern District of California, and Eastern District of Pennsylvania), and Massachusetts Middlesex County Superior Court, and has submitted expert reports in cases before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, Southern District of California, Southern District of Ohio, Eastern District of North Carolina, Eastern District of Texas, and the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Before joining Nathan Associates, Dr. Schneider was a member of the faculty of The Wharton School, and held positions with The Brookings Institution and a private research firm.

Aqua-Lung America, Inc. v. American Underwater Products, Inc., dba Oceanic, et al. (US District Court, Northern District of California, Case No. 07 -02346); rebuttal on lost profits and reasonable royalties for patent infringement.

Karen Fischer v. President and Fellows of Harvard College and David Kearns (MA. Superior Court, Middlesex, C.A. No. 04-0364); lost earnings associated with wrongful termination.

Roquette Frères v. SPI Pharma, Inc., Drytec Ltd., Anhydro U.K. Ltd., and Anhydro Holding A/S (US District Court, District of Delaware, C.A. No.: 06-540(GMS/MPT)); reasonable royalties for patent infringement.

Carlos Torres, et al., v. Gristede’s Operating Corporation, et al. (US District Court, Southern New York, No. 04 CV 3316 (RMB) (AJP)); salary basis test and unpaid overtime.

Robert Wright, et al., v. Henry J. Stern and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (US District Court, Southern District of New York, Case No. 01 CV 4437); racial employment discrimination in promotion.
