Dr. Pisarkiewicz has more than 30 years of experience serving as an expert economist before federal and state courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitration panels. He started at Nathan Associates in 1985, then rejoined the firm after a five-year hiatus as senior vice president at Heiden Associates. Dr. Pisarkiewicz began his career at Western Kentucky University teaching applied microeconomics, industrial organization, statistics, and econometrics. He left full-time teaching to serve at the Federal Trade Commission, initially as a Brookings Economic Policy Fellow. He later served as Acting Director of the Office of Policy Planning and Evaluation at the FTC with oversight responsibility for three operating bureaus--competition, consumer protection, and economics. He has also been an Adjunct Associate Professor at the George Washington University.
